Rivers State Judiciary
Hon. Justice Omonigho Nwibani was born on the 5th of April. She studied Law at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt (now Rivers State University) where she obtained her LL.B (Bachelor of Laws) and was called to the Nigerian Bar where she obtained her B.L. His Lordship holds a Master’s degree in Human Rights Law from the Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom. His Lordship joined the Rivers State Judiciary in 2012 as a Legal Assistant/ Research Officer. His Lordship was appointed a Chief Magistrate Grade II into the Rivers State Magistracy in 2019. Thereafter His Lordship was appointed as a High Court Judge in 2023. Hon. Justice Omonigho Nwibani has attended several conferences, seminars and workshops and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators. Hon. Justice Omonigho Nwibani is happily married to Mr Leroy Barika Nwibani and blessed with 3 children.
