Rivers State Judiciary
Hon. Justice Chinwendu Nwogu, DSSRS was born on April 3, 1963. He is a native of Okudu MBA, in Etche LGA, Rivers State. He attended State School Mba, Etche LGA, Rivers State where he got his FSLC 1975 and obtained WASC, O/L in 1980 as a student of ST Joseph’s Secondary School, Umuaturu, Etche, Rivers State.
He proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and got his LL. B (Hons) in 1992 before proceeding to the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos in 1992. He was called to Bar in 1992. He did his NYSC in 1993 at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Abuja. He was in active private Legal Practice from 1993-2016. He was sworn in as a Notary Public in 2001. He was appointed as a High Court Judge of Rivers State in 2016. He served as Chairman, Judicial Commission of inquiry to investigate the Killings & Other Violent Acts/ Related Matters that occurred during the December 10, 2016 Re Run/Supplementary Elections.
